The Stohr Turin Violin is hand carved from well seasoned, select flamed tonewoods giving it a powerful and refined tone. It is hand finished with an oil varnish with an antiqued finish.

The Stohr Turin Violin outfit comes complete with a high quality branded case with a very smart two-tone interior. It has ebony fittings, an integrated tailpiece and set up with Dominant strings. All Stohr instruments are set up by a luthier.

Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
