Advancing Student cellos

Advancing Student Cellos are generally two or three levels above the entry level instruments we sell – they would have better tonewoods and a better bow.

Given the better tonewoods these cellos will always have a better sound, especially with upgraded strings, and respond better to the advancing cellist looking to achieve grades 4, 5 or possibly even 6.

It is a mixed picture at this level as far as an outfit goes – some have a case and bow and some don’t, leaving you the option of choosing your own if required.
