The Primavera 200 FINETUNE Violin outfit is the exact same Primavera 200 Violin outfit but comes standard fitted with Wittner finetune pegs. The Wittner finetune pegs look identical to standard pegs but have a precise geared mechanism inside making tuning precise and effortless allowing you to spend time playing your violin, not tuning it!

The Prima 200 is particularly popular for education with durability built in by design – Composite bow, rugged case design & now with finetune pegs fitted making tuning effortless.

Offering a good sound, the Primavera 200 or Prima 200 violin as it is often referred to, is a firm favourite with teachers.

Upgrade strings?: The Strings are standard factory fitted steel strings or we offer the option of upgrading the violin by upgrading the strings. Upgrading the strings to branded, synthetic core strings will further enhance the instrument giving it a warmer and fuller sound. You can of course add any preferred string on our website to your basket and request they be fitted to the violin but we offer here three of the most popular set-ups as standard options: set up with Thomastik Alphayue strings, Pirastro Tonica strings or the best selling Thomastik Dominant strings.

Primavera 200 FINETUNE Violin outfit set-up by Caswells Strings | We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
