The Primavera 200 FINETUNE Cello outfit is exactly the same as the best selling Primavera 200 cello but with the added advantage of Wittner Finetune pegs added as standard. Wittner finetune pegs look just like the original pegs but make tuning effortless and quick.

The Primavera 200 FINETUNE Cello outfit has long been regarded as the outstanding instrument in its price bracket. Not only beautifully crafted but offering powerful tone and projection, it is our best selling student cello, commonly referred to as the Prima 200. Hand carved maple and spruce with inlaid purfling, it has an ebony fingerboard, top-nut and Wittner finetune pegs.

The outfit is complete with an integrated tailpiece, padded bag and composite bow. The cello is correctly set up in our workshop and comes standard with Larsen Aurora strings. We do, however also offer the option of Jargar strings and you will get to keep the Aurora as spares – you can of course add any other strings to your basket and request that they’re fitted. Upgraded strings further enhance the big and warm sound of this instrument.

This instrument is also available in all sizes from 4/4 – 1/4 size.

Primavera 200 Finetune Cello outfit set up by Caswells Strings (buying with confidence): We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
