By reworking the varnish to create a hand-finished look, the Primavera 200 Antiqued Violin Outfit has the appearance and feel of a much more expensive instrument. Presented in a new oblong case & partnered with the popular composite bow.

A further upgrade on the standard Prima 200 is an oblong case in a stylish red and black with quarter moon fluorescent detailing.

Upgrade strings?: The Strings are standard factory fitted steel strings or we offer the option of upgrading the violin by upgrading the strings. Upgrading the strings to branded, synthetic core strings will further enhance the instrument giving it a warmer and fuller sound. You can of course add any preferred string on our website to your basket and request they be fitted to the violin but we offer here three of the most popular set-ups as standard options: set up with Thomastik Alphayue strings, Pirastro Tonica strings or the best selling Thomastik Dominant strings.

Primavera 200 Antiqued Violin Outfit set-up by Caswells Strings | We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
