Passione viola strings have a significantly reduced playing-in time and greatly increased tuning stability compared to traditional gut strings. They give a full, round and warm sound. It has a complex overtone spectrum making the sound brilliant and clear with a good projection.

There is a choice of A string – aluminium or Chromesteel wound, with chromesteel giving a fuller sound

  • The tailpiece end has a brown and white spiral
    • C-string: The peg end is light violet.
    • G-string: The peg end is brown.
    • D-string: The peg end is rose coloured.
    • A-string: Aluminium winding: The peg end is black
