Education/Teacher Privilege Card

The Caswell’s Strings Privilege Card is available to all String teachers and Education establishments. The Privilege Card entitles the holder to an overriding discount:

  1. Schools and Education establishments: As a holder of the card you can quote the card number in conjunction with your order and a discount will be applied. The code can also be used for online purchases – please see below. For larger bulk purchases, please call for a bespoke quote.
  2. String Teachers: We recognise the teacher’s role in promoting, nurturing and encouraging more string players and also the fact that many teachers spend a lot of time buying on behalf of students. The Privilege Card will entitle you to a discount on almost all of what we sell.
  3. All Privilege Card holders will be entitled to a £50 credit subject to the terms and condition below*

How can I use my Privilege card online: Each Privilege Card has a unique number. This number is linked to your log-in when you register on our website. The card will not work unless you have registered online. You need to inform us when this is done so we can link the two and activate it. Thereafter you can shop 24/7 and be assured of getting your discount.

How do I apply for a Privilege card: So that we can protect the privilege, we do just ask for one form of proof that you are a teacher. There are many ways of proving this but the most common would be proof of being an ESTA member. Simply click HERE and fill in your details and we wil get a card to you by return.

Terms and Conditions:

General:

  1. The Privilege Card discount cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts we may be offering at any one time. The highest discount applicable in either offer will apply.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse to apply the Privilege Card discount if the purchase is to be made using a 0% finance deal. While the purchase is 0% APR to the customer, Caswells do lose a large percentage to the finance company and as such we cannot sustain both on some low margin products. Please enquire for clarification.
  3. The Privilege Card is reserved for String teachers. We will not apply the discount to parents or students calling up using their teacher’s card number.

£50 free strings deal:

  1. Offer runs per calendar year and can only be claimed once by the named card holder. It is up to the card holder to claim it.
  2. Credit is available once £500 has been spent using the card during the year.
  3. Spend cannot be carried over to the next year
  4. The £50 is for Strings only and at the standard online price. No other offer or discount can be applied simultaneously.
  5. The Credit will be in the form of an online discount code
