The Gewa Ideale VL2 Violin outfit is a superb instrument in its price range and comes highly recommenced.

Made by the world renowned German company, the Gewa Ideale VL2 Violin outfit is largely made of quality European materials including the wood, tailpiece and strings.

This model comes standard with Larsen Aurora strings but we offer the option to further upgrade to Dominant strings and keep the Aurora as spares. It has an oblong case and a carbon composite bow. The same outfit is also available with a wooden bow here.

Gewa Ideale Violin outfit set-up by Caswells Strings – We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. We operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. A set-up in our workshop includes shaping and cutting the bridge, lubricating the pegs, rosining the bow and adjusting the soundpost. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
