What is the “SRT Powered System”?
The SRT (Studio Response Technology) Powered System is a digital technology that adds natural timbre and resonance—body resonance—in real time to instruments without large resonant bodies, like the Silent Cello®, based on analysis of acoustic instrument sounds.
The SRT Powered System is a proven technology also used in our electric violins and Silent Bass®. Rather than relying on sampled sounds, it adds resonance to the analogue signal from the instrument’s pickup, faithfully reproducing the player’s unique expression.
Caswells Strings Setup: We do not just ship boxes. The Yamaha SVC300F-PW Silent Cello does require setting up and the bridge cut. We take care to do this properly in our onsite workshop to ensure optimum playability.
