The tailpiece has integrated adjusters and is used extensively in education assisting students when fine-tuning their Viola. The tailpiece is supplied with a nylon tailgut (tailon)

Available in two sizes- standard (15.5″- 16.5″ viola) and small (14.5″- 15.5″ viola). For violas 14″ and less, use a violin tailpiece : 14″=4/4, 13″=3/4 and 12″=1/2 size

When changing a tailpiece, please beware not to bump the instrument while the strings are slackened off so as not to dislodge the soundpost.
