Stentor Student II Cello outfit (1108)

The Stentor Student II Cello outfit is hand made in the Stentor factory. It is a higher grade instrument made of select tonewoods. The quality of the carving and expert workmanship results in an excellent student cello which is highly recommended by teachers and students worldwide.

The cello is set up standard with the factory fitted strings but we offer the option here of further enhancing the sound of the cello by upgrading the strings. You can, of course, upgrade to any string of your choice but we offer 3 of the most popular here: D’Addario Prelude, Larsen Aurora or Jargar original strings.

Stentor Student II Cello outfit set up by Caswells Strings (buying with confidence): We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
