Description

The Dominant Violin String set is probably the world’s best-selling set of violin strings. For many years they have been trusted and recommended by teachers and students across the globe with their familiar warm, soft and clear tone.

Dominant strings are widely recognised as the string by which all others are measured, legendary for their distinctive tone and being very easy to play.

All four strings in the standard set are wound, the E on a steel core and the other three on a highly flexible, multi-strand synthetic core. The set is also available with the Steel E string in 4/4 only. Both are available with either a loop or ball end E.

The synthetic core means they are not affected by changes in temperature or humidity and they are long lasting.

The set contains the Aluminium wound D – for the silver wound D please see the individual strings.

• Violin G string (133): Tailpiece End is Yellow
• Violin D string (132): Tailpiece End is Green
• Violin A string (131): Tailpiece End is Blue
• Violin E string (130): Tailpiece End is Purple

The Peg End of Dominant violin strings is a Purple (Medium), Yellow (Soft) or Green (Hard)

Dominant strings are available in 4/4 (in Soft, Medium and Hard), 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16th size
