The Eastman Master series Montagnana Cello is a handmade and hand varnished instrument offering a high level of workmanship from this excellent workshop.
The instrument is fitted with quality ebony fittings, French Despiau bridge and factory strings and has a powerful and robust tone. Highly recommended for advancing students and intermediate players. It is highly recommended that the strings are upgraded.

A beautiful sounding instrument professionally setup by the Caswells workshop to my requirements. Professionals that have heard it say that it the quality of sound exceeds the price paid for it.
The Montagnana copy has warm, rich, dark bass notes and does not disappoint in the higher registers either. I am very pleased with my purchase.
A word of advice, though.
Go for the best possible strings you can go for.
They make an excellently built cello sound even more beautiful.
