Description
The Hidersine Veracini Violin outfit is an advancing student outfit which comes with a quality oblong case (may differ slightly from image) and a full mounted brazilwood bow. It has a carved solid spruce table, figured maple back, neck and ribs and ebony fittings. Antique varnish finish.
A superb instrument made to exacting specifications, and suitable for advancing students upwards, capable of taking the player into the upper grades and, with a string upgrade, possibly beyond. This outfit is also highly recommended for adult beginners wanting to start on a quality, good sounding instrument.
Upgrade strings?: The Veracini is set up with the factory fitted strings but we offer here an option to further enhance the instrument by upgrading the strings to branded, synthetic core strings which will enhance the tonal warmth and sound of the instrument. You can of course add any preferred string on our website to your basket and request they be fitted to the violin but we offer here two of the most popular set-ups as standard options: set up with Pirastro Tonica strings or the best selling Thomastik Dominant strings.
This exact outfit is also available as a finetune model with Wittner finetune pegs which greatly assist in tuning.

3 of my students now have this violin (with the Tonica strings upgrade). We are all delighted with it’s beautiful ringing tone. Great value for money!

I bought this violin a few months ago as an instrument to teach with as my others are high value. After the initial raw sound (I bought with Tonica strings fitted), with regular playing the violin has really opened out and now produces a very pleasing tone indeed. It seems to be improving all the time. Whilst the response obviously won’t match my fine instruments, it’s rather good and again, appears to be improving with regular playing. Overall, this was a very good investment indeed and I am becoming genuinely fond of it. The antiquing is quite light but pleasantly rendered. I’m hopeful that it will develop as it actually ages in real time. I would recommend this instrument to both serious students and teachers who don’t wish to expose a costly instrument to the rigours of inexperienced student with wandering bows!
