Primavera 200 Viola outfit (12″- 16″)

The Primavera 200 Viola outfit is particularly popular for education with durability built in by design – Composite bow, rugged case design & quality ebony fittings for a long service life.

Offering a good sound, the Primavera 200 or Prima 200 as it is often referred to, is a firm favourite with teachers.

The instrument is correctly set up in our workshop with the factory strings but we also offer as an option to have Thomastik Alphayue Strings, D’Addario Prelude or Thomastik Dominant strings fitted, which further enhances the sound of the instrument. (12″ may be with an alternative upgrade string depending on suitable availability at this size). Of course, if you prefer a different string please add it to the basket and let us know in the notes to fit them.

Primavera 200 Viola Outfit set-up by Caswells Strings | We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
