The platinum plated E-string is very powerful, the Gold is warm sounding and the Tin is the brightest of the three options. There is also a choice of D-string either being Aluminum wound or, if you prefer a brighter sound, a Silver wound D string. The strings have an instant bow response and have very good tuning stability.
