The Tin plated E-string has a brighter sound than the warmer sounding Gold plated E string whereas the Platinum plated string gives a much more powerful sound. The E-strings all have a removable ball so can be used as a loop or ball end.

Peter Infeld violin strings offer the perfect blend of power and elegance, and a wide dynamic range. Besides the E -string there is also a choice of D-string either being Aluminum wound or, if you prefer a brighter sound, a Silver wound D string. The strings have an instant bow response and have very good tuning stability.
