The Pirastro Passione Viola C string has a sheep gut core, manufactured, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. It is wound with a tungsten-silver giving it a  full, round and warm sound. It has a complex overtone spectrum making the sound brilliant and clear with a good projection.

The tailpiece end has a brown and white spiral with a ball end and the peg end is light violet.
