Description
The Pirastro Obligato Double Bass String set consists of the standard orchestral tuning E, A, D and G. The strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which is wound with chrome steel. They have a brilliant, bright and focused sound with a big tone and powerful volume. Obligato Bass strings have a very quick response.
These strings are suitable for arco and pizzicato and having a synthetic core they are resistant to changes in temperature and humidity. Available in 3/4, 1/2 or 1/4 size. E 2.10m available as a separate product here.

- G: Synthetic core wound with Chrome Steel. Machine head end brown, Tailpiece end Red with black winding
- D: Synthetic core wound with Chrome Steel. Machine head end Red, Tailpiece end Red with black winding
- A: Synthetic core wound with Chrome Steel. Machine head end black, Tailpiece end Red with black winding
- E: Synthetic core wound with Chrome Steel. Machine head end green, Tailpiece end Red with black winding
