These Loop-end string protector fits on the adjuster’s claws to prevent the claw cutting and snapping the string (pack of 8)

Loop-end strings, while thought to offer the best response and sound, are notorious for breaking at the loop. This is usually due to the metal-on-metal contact between the string loop and the fine tuner. Loop-end Protectors are a naturally lubricated plastic cover for your single-prong fine tuner, which prevents breakage, but doesn’t reduce sound quality.

8 Loop-end string protectors are included in each pack

A bit “fiddly” ( pardon the pun) but necessary to prevent the string breaking. Bought along with black mini adjuster and loop end “E” string. Nice authentic look and good sensitivity, your patience will be tested then rewarded, it’s worth it.

George again….1st change of strings since fitting mini adjuster and loop protector, put a “blob” of Vaseline or some kind of grease on the protector before fitting, life then becomes so much simpler and the grease keeps the protector in place even when if you need a couple of goes to get the string on.? have fun….
