The D’Addario Kaplan Forza Viola G string has a Silver winding over a stranded steel core. The stranded steel core gives the G string good projection and a warm sound.

Compared to the other Kaplan Viola strings, Kaplan Forza has a stranded steel core as opposed to the Amo and Vivo which have a synthetic core. This makes them warmer than the Amo strings and similar in sound to the Vivo strings but with a faster response.
