The Evah Pirazzi Gold violin strings set lets you enjoy the brilliant golden tone one would normally associate with gut strings and yet on the other hand, the tuning stability and an even shorter breaking in time than the high standard set by Pirastro’s standard Evah Pirazzi and Obligato strings. They have out excellent tuning stability and are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity.
With the set you have the option of a gold wound G which or a silver wound G which gives a more brilliant tone. The set is complete with a silver wound D string, an aluminium wound A string and a new stainless steel E with an option of loop or ball end.
Compared to the standard Evah Pirazzi, the Evah Pirazzi Gold have a more brilliant, gold tone and an outstanding response and break-in time. This string is also available as single strings – click on links below.

Brilliant and warm and have lasted a long time with constant use.

I couldn’t recommend these strings highly enough, they are the best I’ve used. Gives my 1980 violin a clear resonance, I have to work less hard to produce quality volume, equally versatile in soft passages. The tone is amazing, such clarity and warmth. The tuning hasn’t been as stable as my old Evah Pirazzi set, however I’ve had some problems with my bridge. Worth the money and Caswells were very informative and they arrived on the date I requested.
