The Thomastik Dominant Viola G string has a silver winding on a synthetic core.

The highly flexible, multi-strand synthetic core gives the Dominant Viola strings tonal warmth and the feel of gut. The core makes them resistant to changes in humidity. The sound is soft, clear and rich in overtones.

Dominants are widely known as the ‘bench mark’ with their legendary distinctive tone and playability and are often the first choice for teachers.

The Dominant Viola G string is available as a single string here or as part of a complete set. Available in all sizes in Medium gauge. 4/4 size also available in Soft and Hard gauge.
