Description
Of all Arcus bows, the Arcus M5 Violin bow is the most similar to the fine old French and German master made bows. It is very easy to play and its full, rich and warm sound unfolds without any significant effort.
A bow to feel really comfortable with. It is so easy to handle, making it easy to execute the most difficult strokes with absolute precision. Its darker and warmer sound suits brighter instruments and blends really well in the orchestra. The M series bows are heavier than the S series, though still lightweight by normal standards. The extra weight gives them a slightly darker tone color and a longer sustain. They are also somewhat steadier on the string, though less agile than the S series bows. Available with round sticks only.
