At Caswells Strings we ensure every instrument from entry-level student violins through to professional instruments are correctly set up. This includes, but is not limited to, shaping and cutting the bridge, fitting the pegs and checking the fingerboard. This ensures optimum performance and playability. Beware of low-cost deals which bypass these essential steps. Strings play an important role and unless specified, the violin is set up with the factory fitted strings. We can fit any of your preferred branded strings to a violin – just ask.
