Musing bows – Thumb Position & Frog Style
Some of the musing bows have an option of either a Classic (traditional) frog or a modern frog. What is the difference?
Modern Style Frog:
For a thumb position on the leather and before the frog, the taller frontal area of the frog delivers an especially comfortable hold. The button features superior ergonomics with its five-wing design. It makes adjusting its tension incredibly smooth and easy.
Classic Style Frog:
If your thumb sits inside the throat of the frog, we recommend the classic style frog. Its front part is lower and more rounded, which provides excellent support and comfort. The beautiful one-piece button has a traditional octagonal shape.
